IEPF Authority is mandated to promote Investor’s Education, Awareness and Protection, and to make refunds of shares, unclaimed dividends, matured deposits/ debentures that have been transferred to IEPF.
IEPF mobile app has been developed for citizen engagement and information dissemination to promote awareness among investors.
The mobile app aims in achieving the goal of financial literacy, spreading investors awareness, education & protection among investors both rural and urban from all walks of life.
Track SRN feature of the App allows to track the status and progress of IEPF claim refund process.
Claim Refund feature of App helps in facilitating claimants in filing claims to the Authority
App provides a mechanism to investors and common citizens to report on suspected fraudulent scheme.
E-library is the learning management system that provides easy to understand byte sized investor-centric education content. A fresh initiative to achieve financial literacy amongst citizens & investors to enrol for courses with self-paced learning, attempt quizzes. App shall track the evaluation and progress of the learners. The app allows learners to rate the course content and facility for user feedback & review mechanism.
The app has personalisation features that provides single-touch accessibility to all the recently viewed IEC content accessed throughout any section of app.
App provides notifications for all upcoming events and encourage participation in investor awareness programs (IAPs).
What’s New section of the app has all the content related to activities of the Authority and collaborations that Authority has entered into for Investor Awareness Events.
The app has rich and curated digital content library on investor awareness as e-learning assets in various languages that includes e-books, audio, videos, and posters. Content can be accessed in offline mode as well.
App provides the Resource Person to be empanelled by Professional Institutes to get involved as faculty/ speakers to promote investor awareness and financial education.
App has a feature to rate the App and provide user feedback.
